This painting reflects the evenings I experience in my village today, when the sun slowly sinks and the horizon begins to glow with orange, violet, and blue. At that hour, the air carries a sense of stillness, and the land appears to blur into shadow. I tried to capture this atmosphere, where beauty lies in the subtle shifts of light. The Urdu word Noor (light) is woven into the patterns of birds in the sky, suggesting both radiance and a spiritual presence. Below, a buffalo drinking at the pond and white birds standing nearby are details that continue to shape my view of the rural landscape. For me, this work is not only about what I remember but also about what I continue to observe whenever I return to the village: the harmony between nature, light, and quiet everyday life at dusk.
